Life Lately lets you send a voice note to a WhatsApp number and share it with a small group of people you choose. This page explains what we hold, why we hold it, and how to make us delete it.
What we collect
- Your account details — your phone number, email address, display name, and a profile picture if you upload one.
- Your voice notes — the audio you send, the text transcript we make from it, and the short summary we generate.
- Your connections — who you’re connected to, any private nicknames or circle tags you give them, and who can see which notes.
- Anything you send us on purpose — feedback you submit through the app, and messages you send the bot.
We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in and remember your display preferences.
How we use it
To run the product, and nothing else: transcribing and summarizing your voice notes, showing them to the people you chose, letting you sign in, and sending you the occasional reminder if you’ve left reminders on. We use your email to send sign-in codes.
Who else touches your data
A small number of established third-party providers run parts of the service for us: delivering messages, hosting the site, storing your notes and audio, transcribing speech, writing the summaries, and sending sign-in emails.
Each receives only what its task requires, processes it on our instructions, and may not use it for its own purposes. The providers that handle transcription and summaries don’t use your data to train their models. No service that stores data online is entirely without risk; we keep the number of providers small to limit it.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers, or hand it to anyone beyond the services above. Your voice notes are visible only to the people you share them with — notes you keep to yourself stay that way, and audio files are served through short-lived private links rather than public URLs.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. Your notes stay available so you and your people can look back through them.
Deleting your data
Email info@moreofthat.life and we’ll delete your account, your voice notes, and the audio behind them. You can also export every transcript yourself from the Account page at any time.
Children
Life Lately isn’t intended for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app.
